So the interesting thing was while I was actually in the hospital the delivered to your room food had some option although a lot fewer options than they had for carb heavy stuff with added sugar.

it seems to be assumed people have no will power and will just eat the carbs and take the insulin.

I suppose it assumes that if you work for hospital and you want to eat healthy you will just make your own food.

sometimes it is about treating the symptoms as a business to continue revenue , healthcare also treats it's employees in the least healthy way possible to make the $ work in the books.

a do as we say not as we do , working a nurse 16 hours strait is certainly not a healthy practice but it is absolutely what they will do.

Is it just the sissy tonneau covers or do the manly ones irritate you too?

When I got my new tacoma a few years ago I got a diamondback tonneau cover for it. Its rated for 1400 lbs on top of it and has tiedown cleates around it to secure cargo. I've hauled lumber, bagged concrete, a 3 pt tractor box blade, and stuff like that on top of the tonneau cover. It also allows me to keep stuff securely inside the bed because my tailgate locks. I wouldn't want a weak tonneau but really like the diamondback.

How about everything that is constantly "BEEPING" at us these day? Like as soon as you get in your car or truck. Its beeping at you for all kinds of reasons unknown. Put something in the microwave oven, the keypad has to beep with each entered number, it beeps when it stops, it beeps if you leave your food in longer than 15 seconds after it done. The list is endless, but I for one, would survive just fine with a little more silence.
