I was looing at old phots today to see what a gold bar was worth long time ago when I was working at a steel shop
who built furnace's for them, we were doing a repair on one, and the Higher up guy asked if wanted to handle some bars

Well sure, he led us into a finish room stacked with all sizes of bar's and types of gold lay outs for difference business's

Asked which we would like to hold, but we could not take pictures, of course, I said one of those larger blocks over there

weight was 68 pounds all shiny and serial stamped, was worth some thing like $6,500.00 back on that day

So figured out the worth on today's market it would be $2,423,018,61 YOser and pallets of them that sized staked waist
high, so miss trying to haggle for a picture now !!

That's scary crazy what it's worth today. I remember guys at work laughing at me for buying gold when it was 38 dollars an ounce. My grandpa was from the old country and he always told me to buy it.

The first time I handled gold, I was really surprised how heavy ( density ) it was.
