Have any of you noticed that you might talk to your spouse or a friend about buying this or that and a day or two later, you start getting junk email advertising that product? My wife has Facebook, (I got banished a few years ago, but no idea why), and she started noticing that we would talk about new seat covers for her car, for instance. The next day she would get pop-up ads on Facebook for seat covers. It could be a road trip to Reno, and next day, ads for car rentals and casinos. I was skeptical until we were talking about me looking at chainsaws. That evening, she had several pop-ups for new chainsaws! That's when I started noticing the "promotions" ads I was getting on my Gmail account. It could be me telling her I ordered 10 pounds of striped sunflower seeds for the squirrels. Next day I would have a promotional ad in Gmail from a place that sold striped sunflower seeds! I actually was notified of a class action lawsuit involving the maker of my television (which, mind you, is at least 10 years old, not a new-fangled one), Vizio, and informed that the television had been listening to everything we said and selling the information to marketing companies. I filled out the class action form, and received about 50 bucks from it. I imagine that even having to pay out the settlement, it was still probably a profitable venture for Vizio.
Gotta find a way, a better way, I'd better wait
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you

an thats what all these data centers there putting in everywhere are for. to store all the data they collect on you. AI and the data centers will soon know everything about you and your habits and everything. they will watch your home security cams, your ring doorbells, your thermostats to your house, anything and everything connected to your phone and internet. it will be listening and watching through them.
cash money is really our last stronghold of freedom. and most people are brainwashed to not wanting to use it. there brainwashed to think credit cards, debit cards, bitcoin, etc are better and easier. once we go to digital currency its all over. the government will have complete surveilance and control.
Anyone that owns a gun and votes democrat deserves to have there gun taken, cause they truly are too stupid to own a gun.

Not a problem, as long as you practice total compliance I wish that was funny. But it sure isn't.

Electronic finances is the big one, indeed. Even for Government. You, and they, are one hack away from being penniless. Just look at how the U.S. can sanction and "freeze" other countries' funds. Problem is, unless you can pay cash for everything you will ever need, including your home, you will need a digital trail. Credit history? Digital. Car payments? Same. And your payroll check, tax and SS withholdings also digital. Of course, your tax refund must be digitally deposited to your bank account, which also has record of every single transaction you have ever done with them, including debit cards and checks. And nobody in the financial world is going to be comfortable if you show up to buy a new truck or home with a shoebox full of cash.
Just doing what I want now.

That’s the whole point of bitcoin,,,, It’s neutral, liquid, censorship resistant money that no government/person can print and/or control

I feel like there’s gotta be a lot of people like me, ones that big brother don’t care enough about to watch. There are a lot of people who think they are a lot more important than they really are, lol. Then there are those who are paranoid. Throw away your cellphone NOW people! LOL. I know. I’m just not arrogant enough to think the government cares about tracking my doings. I’m also of the impression they wouldn’t care about most people on this website.
