I've got a small batch of eggs that's been working down for a bait base. It's now ready to get started on the bait. My question is, do I need to add presertives to the base to stop it from rotting away and preserve the odor? If so, what is the best presertives to use? Thanks.

I would definately put some S.B. and a bit of M.P. in it if you want to stop it now. Hopefully Mr. Jameson will add to this.
