Those things are mean, and not fun to mess with in footholds. When we went to dispatch one it took three shots from the twenty two we had and it was still going. We also made a set for a badger one time and instead we caught a bobcat.

Yeah you're right MChewk, thats how I caught that bobcat was I saw the sign set my traps and the next few days there wasn't a thing in my traps and then I came one day and there was a big ol tom sittin in there

They will stay under ground for long enough that you think they are gone. I have had them in a hole for over a week during the summer and a month or more in the winter.

Badger in a 220 duke. Notice how close he came to digging up the stake on the right side. This one took 220 and stake down the hole. My dog, Dusty is tryin to get him out. Nothing like a Duke 220 fight cirlce. Note to self: No Dukes for badgers (or anything else).

I get catch circles on skunks and coon with 220 dukes too. They are being replaced. Make sure you have them staked off or cabled off good.
