Forme all tails suck. For some odd reason i keep ripping tails when i am fleshing them. The one skunk i did flesh tho was very easy alot better then coon

Rob, try turning them end for end and fleshing the tail from the tip towards the hide....works for me...TomTom, I will have to give that a try next time i do one which will be soon i hope. I really hate when i have a nice coon or skunk and part of the tail is gone lol

If you have a mixed bag catch, start with your easiest to flesh critter: fox, skunk, etc... and then work on your coon, beaver, etc....
If I start the other way around, I tend to be waaayyyy too aggressive and heavy with the knife on the easily torn pelts.

Hope that helps!
