Here is my latest version of a 'coon snare. Years ago, I used to snare 80-90% of all my 'coon. I do not snare many 'coon these days, with a low 'coom market already, due to mark downs. I do snare some though that will not 'play my game'....and this is what I'm using to successful head snare 'coons. This is not a 100% mind you but it does work quite often in the right situation. 1x19-5/64th, Slim lock w/ a Sullivan B.A.D., loaded, double swagged, MB crunchproof swivel plus a tie off.(This short one pictured is for fence snaring.)
