I put some on some Victor 3-N's back several years ago.Didn't take long until I was taking them off.I hate that type of pan system !!!! Are you using the improved miles trigger system Palerider? I just tried it on a couple traps the other day I like it a lot. If lynxcat will ever do a pictoral on how to modify them longs there might be a few more miles trigger users. LT

Palerider you're a staunch opponent of the PIT system, I've seen you post this before. Can you elborate on why you don't like them? Please. Thanks!

adc .... have ya used the miles trigger system ?? how long before ya have to replace the pan and trigger on the traps ?? seems like they would wear pretty fast with much use at all Never tried then Gary. Thanks Palerider I figured it was the tension adjustment giving you fits. I wish I had a good solution for you on it. Any I ever used never had that many pounds of tension on them.

Palerider, Is it possible you were bending the dogs down too far back towards the trap. I.E not bending just the tip with the nipple on it. Has the design changed? I couldnt believe how fast I tuned 3 doz #3s and #2s. It only took about 2 min per trap to bend the tip of the dog right behind the nipple to get my desired tension.
One thing I have noticed is that there is a difference in the amount of bend required between offset and standard jaw to get the same 3 1/2 lbs. Must be the increased distance between the pan and the jaw on the offsets.
