I agree throw the safety away or use it for something else. Then u can talk to your customer daydream about a vacation and not come back to find the trap tripped and the safety saving mr. mole. Get rid of the setters and you won't leave them on the job making the lawnmowing person mad. I'f you do decide to keep using them paint hem orange decreasing the chance of leaving them. I'm not stong enough to set them by hand but I step on them with no problems.

I like the safeties and use 'em because I like my fingers and use 'em! Fingers in a 120 coni is one thing; don't even want to think about what an OOS will do to my digits! The "setters" are modified into trap flags, and I set the traps with my right foot; much faster than using the tools. Tyson, let me know if you need clarification.

Tyson, Dave's right an outasite will damage your fingers if you catch them in it. So if you do remove the safeties like a lot of us do DO NOT put you fingers between the jaws even for a joke;-). Just like a gun muzzle control is the most important safety, don't depend on that safety either. Keep your digits outa the outasites range!! Hey Mikie I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it to your beautiful state and see your face. I know your having fun somewhere.
