if i didnt pre-bait i would bother doing it. i can only trap for about 7-10 days so I need coons coming to bait. the only problem with the lid on the bucket is when I pre-bait, would the coon be able to get in and eat it? I think square buckets or wood boxes are a better choice, only problem being wood boxes do not stack. Don't put a bottom in those wooden boxes and they will stack very well. You can use 1x1 inch wire to build folding cubbies. Cut each side out and put them together with rabbit pen clips and use tie wire to hold down the back.

Is it just me or does that coon have an extremely long tail?!? Looks as long as his body!
I just had an idea to make easy money from reading another post-The portable turd.

what kind of sign do you want to look for when trapping coon, where are they most likely to make dens?
God needs more critters in heaven - I aim to please him.
