I have someone that needs their pet rabbits caught, they are the rabbits bred to be ate, but they did not know that. What are some good sets, baits, lures, etc. good for getting these buggers?

God needs more critters in heaven - I aim to please him.

I have used drift fence with positive sets to catch chickens. Set it up like a funnel with a cage at the end and chase them in. Double door trap works best so they can see a path to freedom.

Dirty bedding from tame rabbits works on wild rabbits, in the bottom of a cage. Should work on tame ones. Depending on how they are situated a water bottle they are used to with water in it might make better bait than food.

Without sounding like a sales pitch, and I don't mean it to, my wooden rabbit traps out perform wire cages , hands down.
I have a pictorial on my site...or, if you're nice enough to LATrapper, he might be able to look it up and repost it for you.

At one time I would have agreed with Lt built many wooden rabbit gums over the years but I now reach for Comstocks 18 and slam the rabbits spring summer and fall.
