Ok this is just stupid I admit it because I have no wish to deal with the cat crazys in any shape or form not even if it's for rats eating there feral cats ground feeding nightmare disease bomb . But anyway just came into a large supply of still growing catnip . Seems very strong after testing on good inside house cats which I like and they really liked this fresh cut catnip to say the least . Not a cat hater if there cared for kept indoors term the word house cat . This trapping and fixing then releasing back in the wild thing is crazy will only lead to a pandemic of diseases . These cats have no place anywhere in the wild and coyote is are only hope . But any way could catnip be used to draw feral cats in to a cage trap if made into a catnip oil of some kind . Anybody tried this on these cage shy feral cats .

I had good luck last year using stuffed animals laced with catnip from dollar general. It may have been they just liked the look of the stuffed mouse and the lure I used. Just hung in back of cage.

Pesky, coyotes may be their only hope in Pure Michigan. In Wisconsin, they have Advanced Wildlife Control Inc. to relieve their misery. But I still haven't found a catnip that will really work. If you find one, put me down as your first customer.

You can pick fresh and vacuum pack it.

I've used the little cloth packs that you buy at Walmart before. Worked well for me.

Gotta make sure it is only past the pan. If you put any outside the cage all they do is roll on it and no capture.

I place my lure and bait underthe cage hoping to cause the critter to dig or be aggressive while in the cage.
