Am thinking about getting an enclosed trailer to haul some of my equipment to jobs. Mostly for bat jobs. Who is using a trailer, what size, what do you haul? Open to ideas.

I usually rent a small trailer for attic clean-ups. Been thinking about buying one but I'm afraid I'll pack it up with all of my stuff and move to Northern Michigan. Metro Detroit is such a grind.

opie, go to www.rctrailers.com and ours is the fourth picture in the photo gallery with the single axle. It has given us no complaints and I think we paid about three grand for it. ( It would be excellent for moving to say, northern Michigan )

For clean outs I just rent. It helps my brother runs a rental yard and things "disappear" from inventory.
I would think you would need a large enclosed for a full clean out.

I think he is wanting a trailer to carry equipment in and keep it in. Like a metal break set up with a place to store metal, wire and exclusion tools.

Two years ago I bought a 12' long single axle Bravo trailer with rear ramp door specifically for attic cleanouts. Ramp door allows single person loading/unloading of Meyer insulation vac or Nikro tri-motor vac. Plenty of room for equipment and full vac bags on all but the largest attics, and the ramp makes loading full bags easy. Nice thing is if I'm too busy to haul bags to dump transfer station or the facility is closed by the time we get finished up I can park the trailer for a couple days until I get time to haul it there for unloading. There are times I wish I'd bought a twin axle 16' trailer but so far the 12' unit has been the right sized unit on 95% of the jobs. It's also nice when not in use to be able to store vacs, hoses, bundles of new insulation, and other bulky stuff so there's more elbow room in the 40' storage unit.

3200 sq feet of bagged roll insulation will fit in a 14 ft
