Wade Lacey OP trapper W Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,831 Georgia	Here is my first attempt at putting up coyotes. How does it look so far? Yesterday i washed the coyote in a bucket of cold water and rinsed it with clean 3 times to get all the blood and dirt etc out. I rung it out with my hands real good them snapped it several times to get most of the water out. I then fleshed it and rubbed borax all over the entire flesh side. I rubbed it in the head and tail area real good and then shook the excess out. I put it on the stretcher with the fur in over night and then turned it this morning to fur out. I do have a fan blowing on it to help dry better. Just wanting some input before i do the others i have.

Also is the tail split? I tack them out to dry until I turn fur out. not your milk hand, your cookie hand!

Wade Lacey OP trapper W Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,831 Georgia	Yes the tail is split all the way down and had borax rubbed in it real good. No i did not remove the ear cart but i did remove all the meat off the ears and around them and boraxed it real good.
