Disappointing for sure but not a shock.

For the average trapper it's not going to make or brake them who they sell to .
The others know what their choice is .

In the short time I've been around it seems like people complain more about Groenewald more than others. Why continue to sell to them?
Does WTA buy furs by chance? One advantage to selling, or at least offer to Groeny is you know the price right then. If you ship to one of the auctions? You’re taking a gamble. Just a chance you take and better be prepared for the outcome. Good or bad. You have no choice once they receive it. Before someone jumps all over me. I’m not saying one is a better choice than the other.

When groney makes his next stop. I'm going to put on my blaze orange groney shirt and I'm going to take my 80 rats and make him a offer. $4.00 nose count or I'm walking. What do you think the odds are on making a sale?
I have NO damage at all and I don't think there Is a rat that's less then 14" with a lot of them over 16" and 7 that are over 18"
If I sell I'll give old groney a bunch of free advertising On T Man. LOL

I’m guessing everybody believes their rats are the same as everyone else’s. That may not be the case and should be taken into consideration. It’s certainly true for coon and I can’t see why it wouldn’t be the same for rats. Even in the same state.
The guy who does the Rat Race video with colony traps talks about the difference between marsh muskrats and creek bank rats where the feed is different. And he’s from Michigan - one state with different qualities of fur. That’s got to be true in all states: different feed, larger breeding stock, and so on.
Never too old to learn

That's so true teacher. The marsh rats are darker and silkier. Must be all that sweet flag and cattail roots etc.The creek or trout streams rats have a lighter tint and not as big generally....at least where I trap.
