Horse meat for bait is common around here. Got 5 gallons of jackarse meat today and I am looking for ideas/opinions. Going to grind it up and then divide it up to use some as fresh, some as aged and some as tainted. If any of ya'll have used it what bait solution have you used. Years ago some guys around here mixed horse meat with O'Gorman's LDC, I believe, and hammered coyotes with it. Open to ideas and opinions. Happy Trapping

I'd PM both Andy Weiser and Wayne52 and ask them, as they may have tried that meat in their past.

When I did the survey to see how many liked horse meat before I put it in my products.....one gentleman in Arizona said in his opinion horse meat was alright but if I ever made some Appleroad predator bait made with burro meat he wanted to be first in line
