My grandmother was ahead of her time. About 30 years ago, when she was 80 or so, she said that, "folks that smoke pot never seem to amount to much " . Up here in my area, that seems to hold true . I'm not sure about the generalization but in my family that is certainly the case. Yup. Osky

Maybe it should not be legal for folks who drink alcohol or smoke pot to purchase or own guns? You know, choose one or the other. This is where we keep getting ourselves in trouble. Always want to restrict the next person for something we don't approve of.

I would be ok with legalizing pot if they did away with welfare for anyone that's 21 and can work Whether they legalize pot or not, they should eliminate welfare, for those able, but unwilling to work. ^^^^^^This X 100^^^^^^^^^ Dennis

An American over the age of 21 should be allowed to buy and use pot if he chooses. When it becomes legal, will folks be allowed to grow it. It doesn't matter if it's legal or not when it comes to being stoned on my crew. I am GOD over that.

I thought you smoked cannabis and made rope with hemp? Hemp production would be profitable to farmers to develop poor land. Wonder what kind of habitat it would create and if in could be used as a CRP crop?

I thought you smoked cannabis and made rope with hemp? Hemp production would be profitable to farmers to develop poor land. Wonder what kind of habitat it would create and if in could be used as a CRP crop? Hemp still grows all over in the midwest states. When I still went pheasant hunting in Iowa it grew all over in crp fields- still does. As well as our old farmstead in southern Minnesota- find it everywhere. In real dry years we used to buy hay that was cut from overgrown fields in Iowa and Nebraska and it was always mixed right in with the bales. The following summer more would grow from seeds that fell out of those bales.
