Saw one on the move in the gravel yesterday afternoon near a lane not far from a pond. The total length of its shell was estimated at 10 inches. I wasn't able to confirm if it was a male or female.

The video after the photos may be more revealing to member turtle trappers for sex determination.

It's hard to ID the sex from that pic. Usually the male has a longer, thicker tail and the vent will be farther away from the the end of the plastron. Nice pic tho..

The underneath shell is slightly concave on a male turtle. It is slightly convex on a female turtle to allow extra room for eggs.

Also, the females usually have their nails painted.

Concave plastron on male helps it to spoon on top of the female when breeding, longer claws to hang onto the rim of her shell. Female has large semi-circular indent over tail to allow the males tail to lock in and around to her ..

I'd say male also, on account of the thick tail. Would have to look a the bottom of it to bet the house.

Turtle females will have slightly longer nails some times but in Rocky creeks and bottoms they all ware down
Young turtles will have sharp nail and long nail male and female, soft bottom dweller don't ware as much, so it's not 100% I can tell you after a turtle is sexually mature the vent on a male will be past the bottom edge of the shell females will be even or inside the edge.
