William H Johnstone is my favorite author. Good old western and frontier life. Has some mountain man series.

You always have a way with words Sharon, it is appreciated.

My wife and I read aloud to each other quite frequently, although mostly now they are read to our 18 month old.

Does White17 have a book? I would buy it, bring it up to my camp and read it at nights on the trapline. Probably ware out the pages where he talks about his wolverine sets.

The parts where he came over on the May Flower would probably be interesting also. Meeting Pokahontis for the first time.

But mostly the wolverine sets, one of these days Youtube.com/Muskrat411 is going to have a wolverine hanging off a tree like a marten. White17 style!!

The Mad Trapper of Rat River: by Dick North. then watch Charles Bronson and Lee Marvin in Death Hunt. Then drive up the Dempster Highway to Inuvik and call me up to pick you up by boat to come over and see his grave. Unfortunately the bar and cathouse seen in Death Hunt are no longer in operation in Aklavik.

Fearless by Eric Bleem is one of the best I've read. I liked it better than American Sniper and Lone Survivor. If you liked those two books, Fearless is right up your alley.
