Just watch the news and really listen it's not that hard to figure out it's about 99% personal opinions and nothing to do with any real news. Most "news" today is slanted opinions, unicorn dreams and flat made up fantasy facts are a thing of the past they don't matter.

Jarhead, where I live it appears to be the opposite then where you are. Many folks around here did not care for Trump at first, but since he has become president it seems he is keeping the promises that he made and they are very happy.

The Democrat party has become to inclusive, they have wrapped themselves in a cloak of "oppression" and tied their identity to the need to suppress "oppression" which they mostly purport to being caused by conservative politics, however since real oppression is so rare in this country they must constantly try and find or create new forms of it and when they start chasing these fruitloop causes it alienates "normal" working people.

I do not want to see the DFL party collapse, I would prefer they chase out the nuts and reform their values to fit that of "farmers and laborers" again. GOP politicians are certainly no saints, we dont want a one party system so hopefully instead of "walking away" to the GOP these "liberals" can reform the DFL into something that stands with American values again.

Ok, i agree with the congress being worthless as teats on a boar hog (single digit approval rating). But even at that, going to Pelosi and Shumer they'd have to be like i said, not really a conservative.

I remember way back when Trump was talking about the open border with Mexico and all of the realistic dangers that cane across with the mostly good people but the MSM just left out the "mostly good people" part to make him look racist. This politics problem has been going on for some time now. The problem is corruption...on both sides. There were no 2 sides. They had joined sides to represent people other than us. If you don't believe this just look at the congress members who have resigned or, are not running for re-election and ask yourself why. Paul Ryan who is speaker of the house is not running. Why? Look at all the folks in the FBI and DOJ that have been fired or resigned. This list is long. These people have been caught up in corruption. Things are changing and right quick compared to the past. A reckoning is upon them.
We do need 2 political parties. HONEST ones that keep each other honest and represent the U.S.A.

When one looks at the two candidates we were offered in the last presidential election, it is little wonder that sensible people are walking away from BOTH parties. Party politics is what is ruining so much of what could be great about this country. The extremists on the left as well as the right seem to believe any American who doesn't agree with their views on all issues is an enemy.

I watch the news at night and it seems this country is so divided. It is hard for me to believe and if it is really true, then very scary as well. But, I guess the country is this divided because our congress members are supposed to represent "We the People." If they are so divided, then it must be a reflection on who We are as Americans.....? Is this really the case, I don't believe it.

DC stopped working for the people many years ago they work for each other have been for a long time now. The same people that sent jobs overseas and give away billions and billions of dollars and tell us it's for us somehow and they leave DC as millionaires.
