This is what I use when the conditions are right. I pull the sled by hand when there is more snow or a use a deer hauling cart where there is a decent trail. Otherwise I use a pack or a rope to make a sling and tough it out.

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

Jet sled . I use it snow or no snow . Beaver , deer , rats ,hauling gear through fields to get to lakes streams or swamps I can't drive to etc . It floats to work out of in slow moving water or lakes I can't use a boat or kayak on or to cross swampy muck that a ton of gear on your back would sink you up to your knees . It goes through the woods pretty easy just takes some getting used to . It is VERY handy . I also use it to make waxed dirt in . 10 or 15 gallons of dry dirt in it . Mix wax in , cover with clear plastic sold in rolls at home depot , set in the driveway in the hot sun , mix a few times and test . Works good .
