I heard nothing in her statement that warranted an apology. She described using makeup to imitate someone of another race. Guess that nowadays it's culturally acceptable to for real change one's gender but racist to use makeup with a custom for Halloween. Somewhere I'm missing the logic

She gave them an easy way to end her employment because her show was a failure. I have never seen her show, but I like her looks.

Exactly. They have been paying her multiples of what she is worth and needed a way out.

I read that even though they left her go, her contract was written so they had to pay her anyway.

I don't doubt it but the sooner they get on it, the sooner the pain will end.

Don't know anything about her but if she worked for NBC that is all I need to know. LOL I can say one thing she was easy on the eyes.

She got a little big for her britches at Fox and her overconfidence trying to challenge Bill ORiely. So NBC signs her to $23million per year. All the while NBC thinks she’s going to bring all/many of those Fox viewers and ratings. LOL, her show has been a miserable failure. There are significantly LESS viewers today at her time slot than BEFORE she started at NBC lol. NBC was looking for an exit plan with MK and they’re using her comments as the path to part ways. I didn’t think her comments were at all racist, merely an excuse for NBC.
That’s my take.
