Before you go pluggin it up with stuff, think about your mechanicals. Like electrical for freezers, beer er lure fridges, 220, compressor and or hard air lines, welder, or ??? Plumbing, natural gas lines, AC, radio, location man.
A bunk area.
Skinning and fleshing area in the lean to if you trap during decent weather.
Think where you want the pressure wash areaS. Outside frost free hose bib, with inside shut off so those pesky trick n treaters can't turn it on and run away while you are not there.

well John, I happen to know a fella that can do the remodeling for you Course it would have to be done in the winter while coyotes are prime B&B doesn't just stand for bucksnbears. It's Bed n Breakfast for an offer like that. Lol. Check out any of the LED ceiling light fixtures from Menards, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. Lot of light for much less wattage, never have to replace a bulb. Put two in my garage and one in the bathroom. Almost like turning on the sun. I have talked with farmers that have replaced all of their fluorescent fixtures in barns with led's. That's good advice there. I'll check those out. You have a kitchen, bathroom, and shower in your new fur shed???? Man with heated floors you would have the sweetest "doghouse" to hang out in if the Mrs tossed you out for the night! Run cable out there so you can have the news or a game on while skinning, and you are set!!! You need a fridge for beers and snacks, and a card table so rest of us can come over and have something to do while we give you advice on your new fur shed setup. Jim Jim, there's already a fridge, freezer, and cable hookup. What do you think this is, Mexico? Lol.

Skinning and fleshing area in the lean to if you trap during decent weather. The building is already built. Propane lines, 220, etc is all ready to go. I may insulate the lean to and wood fire it.

Geez USMC, sounds like you have the dream set-up already. Only think you need is an interior decorator. I'm thinking tumbler, fur drying room (if you need to regulate temp/humidity), hard to imagine actually having a space that big to turn into a fur shed. I'd love to post some pics that would help ya, but almost everything in my tiny little shed is designed around the idea that I don't have enough space (as much as I'd like anyways). Looking forward to seeing what you do to make it your space.

LOL John that was almost incriminating a reefer truck is a semi trailer. designed to freeze frozen foods. most are self contained. Although if you had a truck load of reefer you could build 3 buildings! With money to spare!

Doesn't hardly cost much extra to go up a 1/2 or full story, Knee wall, Joist' and Floor.

Try not to overthink it all at once John. See how the first season goes, focus on needed equipment, how and where you want it will begin to materialize. With that size building one of the best ideas offered was a good place for full size vehicle or other transportation to back in and load/unload. I Think you will find great pleasure in the ideas that come to mind that first season your using it, then making them happen.

sooooo,i'm cleanin and realized one thing not brought up yet,a shooting window for rainy days.mine has 2 This is true. I need to be able to see the bait pile out on the 22 acres. Duh! Sometimes one is better off working in a small area, a big area has a tendency to collect a lot of junk. Contrats on Retiring John your the third trapper I've heard about in recent months retiring to MT. Good to hear from ya, John. I wish I were smelling like super all calls when I got in bed. I'd have 35 kids. Lol. Try not to overthink it all at once John. See how the first season goes, focus on needed equipment, how and where you want it will begin to materialize. Osky Is my, 100% great advice. It will come together and the truck.....man, parking it in there will be great. Garage door opener is going to be needed out there first. Doesn't hardly cost much extra to go up a 1/2 or full story, Knee wall, Joist' and Floor. he's gonna be the best sheriff in the state, sooooo. One day.... I'll eat breakfast with you but I ain't sharing a bed you sicko B&B, I call big spoon. Lol.
