Author was a regular contributor to Fur Fish Game magazine in the 1970s. Lots of good information in this book. Hardcover with dust jacket. 381 pages covering the trappersand traders of the American Southwest...the mountain men and beaver trappers of the 1800s. One of the very best titles of this time period. 6.) THE WILDERNESS TRAPPER by Raymond Thompson. 1925 hardcover. Fourth printing, lacking nothing from the first printing. Excellent trapping adventures, methods and know how from this man in the wilderness of Canada in World War I years to mid 1920s. 7.) CANADIAN WILDS by Martin Hunter. Hardcovet 1920s edition of trapping and wilderness adventures in Canada wilderness in the 1880s, 1890s and early 20th century. Author worked for the Hudson's Bay Company, starting in the 1860s, and was well acquainted with the native Canadians, the trappers, traders and homesteaders. This is an interesting read. Hardcover editions have become hard to find. s one is in clean, very good to excellent condition. $28.50 postage paid in USA. SOLD!

8.) A MODERN TRAPLINE by Bob Gilsvik. Hardcover with dust jacket. 197 large pages. 1980 first edition. A well written book of trapping methods, tips, and know how with a special chapter on proper usage of lures and baits. This book is illustrated with large close up photos to help the reader understand the makings of a good trap set, how good location brings success, and the rewards you will realize. A worthwhile book in excellent condition. $15.00 postage paid in USA.
