Who digs up 4 year old threads .....anyway ..... That’s AJ’s standard MO…don’t you know? Caught this female today wife is 5'4" I didn't weigh it. I don’t normally go out on a limb, but your wife looks about 110 hanging onto a real nice cat!

I don't know that much about bobcat weights, but my experience with cougars is that one specific cat can vary a whole lot in weight depending on when and what they have eaten. I've seen 120 pound cougar with 15 pounds of venison in their stomachs; and I'll bet they can fit a lot more. Cats can really gorge themselves.

Years ago I caught a 36 pound female and I thought that was like the Andre the Giant of the bobcat world.I can't imagine one almost twice that size.Maybe that's what accounts for people saying they're seeing Mountain lion tracks up here.

Beachcomberf13 that is a pretty cat for Pa. Our biggest among my friends is a 46 pounder that was posed on here 10 years ago along side of a 30 p0und beaver and another cat of some weight that I forget. He ran dogs and is a real outdoors man. My biggest was last year of 35 pounds. Most of the local guys have got a 30 pounder since the season opened a dozen years or more ago here in Pa........jk

I have a buddy that targets bigger cats. I think his biggest is 48 with a few more in the lower 40s and upper 30s. He posted them when he caught them but has been busy the last few winters. I will see if I can get some pics
