JMO...Need to find the "HWW". How they're getting up there, where their activity areas are once in the attic and why, the why is the easy part. I would find out if they are even approaching the traps. I've had people ask what kind of bait they should be using because the bait they were using didn't interest them. So I asked, how do they know the bait they're using isn't getting their attention? They had no idea, so I suggested placing trail cams on the job, purdy easy thing to do. The coon weren't even traveling in the vicinity of the traps. They moved the traps and used the same bait and finished the job. Cameras are huge on adc jobs, why they aren't utilized more idunno, but I would have cams on the job if I were stuck.
The "HOW?". Don't know what seminar the tech who did this went to for seal ups, not sure I want to know either.
Once they're in..the "WHERE?"...travel routes activity areas.
And the "WHY?"..
You can try 100 different bait and lures but before you go down that road, I would be sure that your traps are on location and you know or have a good idea on what part of the attic they are primarily on. You might be using some supah dupah leet bait from the "bestie" bait maker on the planet. That means nothing if the traps aren't on their route. If you have cams set up and they are by passing, you need to find out why and then possibly start changing things up.
I like to use sweet bait&lures that are put up on a lure/bait stick and when I use a ground bait it goes in a basket, and in your face traps. JM2C
