Wow,those bobcats sure sink into the snow compared to lynx. Nice shots.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

How come those critters didn't end up in your traps?? mt I haven't pinched a toe with steel in over 20 years. Trapped yotes mainly from 12yrs old on up to my early 40's(?). Too much hard work putting up half frozen stinky yotes on the board with no real return. House no longer stinks, hands don't get half froze, snow doesn't bury sets, etc. etc. The enjoyment I used to get from trapping was anticipation when checking my traps, looking for sign, and basically just being in the brush? Been "camera trapping" for awhile now and get the same excitement checking cams MINUS all the hard work involved trapping with steel? No skinning, close is good enough for a "catch", don't HAVE to check cams if crappy weather, cams don't freeze up, snow level not a concern, animals live to be "caught" again, etc. and I still get my 65 year old carcass out in the brush looking at tracks, seeing what's out there, and mainly enjoying being alone with nature, etc. I "trap" year round (but stop during hunting season). I do pass on my info to a trapping bud who in return supplies me with bait.....
