I am not a licensed applicator, but I had a client ask what he should use to control mice in his garage. He said he can no longer find D-con and was looking for a good alternative. I told him I’d see what I could find out and pass it along. All thoughts are welcome. Snap traps and try to close up any obvious entry exit point.

Good idea.
I've never tried 2 different blocks side by side. I probably should.
Maybe I'm overcautious, but I'm careful putting them outside houses because of incidental animals that could get at them. Sometime's I simply crush a soup can with a bait block inside, & I leave a hole big enough for mice to enter. It also helps waterproof them.

When you put the blocks in a garage, do you put them in (or on) something? I've seen people just set them on a shelf or the corner of the garage floor. They can make a mess, & I'm not sure how toxic that d-con or Tomcat type stuff is to cleanup.

The Tom Cat brand blocks have a hole thru the center that I like to nail to something so it can't be dragged off, even up high to barn studs/poles next to a fire block.
