what makes you think an animal wont eat a bait with skunk in it?
stay with natural products rather than artificials
skunk imo is over used and used incorrectly A LOT
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

lots of different ways to use skunk. lots of different ways to handle it also. straight pure quill is only one way.

My goal is to put them in the trap,I don't care if they eat it or not. Same goal here, but I figure if they get a taste and like it, they're more apt to keep working the set until they connect. They should be caught long before they get a chance to taste it!

Eatable baits have their advantages if you know how to capitalize on it Absolutely true, I started talking about this in my Wildlife control talks and lectures way back in the early 1990's Taste baits and lures work both ADC and Fur trapping all year. And when understood and incorporated with the proven smell baits and lure mindsets both excel.
