I'm pretty envious of your project, that will be a nice shed once you are done.
One thing about it, you had fancier chicken coops that the ones I grew up around.

Not to be a stick in the mud, but you would be better off with the plastic on the ceiling on the warm side of the insulation. Your insulation is going to soak up the moisture in the air like a sponge and will be worse than useless. The walls are done right. I have a friend who does this fo a living. And have been yelled at for the way you have done the ceiling. He has shown me, were after a couple short years, the damage the wet insulation can do.

I really like that you have re-purposed the chicken coop and the old lumber and tin. I like doing projects like that myself.
I did question the vapor barrier (plastic) between the roof and the insulation to be different than what I've seen done before, but I'm not a pro. May check on it before you get too far along though.
Keep us posted on your progress. Nice size and cool project.

Keep us posted on your progress. Nice size and cool project. As for the vapor barrier on the ceiling, it is far from air tight LOL. We are just trying to cut down on some of the wind and increase the R value as we live in one of the windiest counties in the US. We had to reinforce trusses and other feats as the building was built in 1912. We are excited to get it done.

Looks like lots of space to work in.
Now if you can get it up to 50-55 degrees in the winter, good luck. All the heat goes up!
get a large ceiling fan to pull it down and circulate that heat.

Lots of room for a trap shack. How are you going to heat it? Electric forced air heater. 5,000 Watt.
