Probably in the wilderness archives, in one of the wolverine threads. In my neck of the woods, they don't fall for it. That said, plenty have, elsewhere.

My trapping partner and I used Belisle and Bridger 280 traps, made a wooden box out of plywood, just like a giant marten box. Works good.

Thanks again HFT FOR pointing me in the right direction, my daughter connected today with the bucket set. Very cool! I tried bucket and crate sets for nine seasons with no success. Funny how that works!

Congrats on her first wolverine (saw that same pic on FB).
We're still waiting on some more snow and ice before we can start traveling by sled.

It looks good size. Congrats. Those wolverine are sure a unique looking critter, at least to me (as a person who has never seen 1).

I wonder how that 5 gallon pail set would work for otter It works, not sure how well. I[ve tried it before but not much. Salmon heads wired in for bait, bucket wired horizontally to a pole on the bottom.

When you put them in deep water they work great...you just have to have used some old telephone wire wrapped on spring eyes to test conductivity to see if you catch anything rather than cut a lot of ice.....there are no ravens eating those submerged sets.
