LOL, I don't know, didn't kill any yet this season. I just got two venison roasts out of the freezer for tomorrow's stew (I make three gallons at a time) I did notice the roasts, venison/apple sausage patties and scrapple piles were looking considerably smaller than they were six months ago.

I'm starting an out-of-state job Monday, be gone a week-and-a-half. After that I might have to arrow one to replenish supplies.

I'll be up at camp in three weeks for the end of early muzzleloader, let me how how them Potter County deer are tasting this season. grin

Eh...wot?

Coyote or doe, down they go! Bucks a plus. Got my eye on a few. One would make me one happy camper for a long time.

Our venison is gone pretty early every spring-Even when we had three teenage sons living here, and they always provides at least a couple. I'd like to get a doe or two early and find a big one sometime the last two weeks. Using a buck tag early in the season make the wait for next season even long.
Good luck to the guys going out. And ALWAYS WEAR A SAFETY HARNESS!!!

Wind not ideal for the stand i want to hunt in morning. It will suffice from one direction though. Trying a new location for the evening sit. Public land, so we'll see how crowded.
