Shame you could not keep it. But, I turned one in once too. Mine came from about 10 miles east of Jamestown and 8 north. Cubby set, 160 Belisle, about 40 yards from the water. They have been spotted in Bismarck on the river.

is that a otter ?? if not what is it ? Yep otter Lots of them around here have to turn in several incidentals ever year because there either over my limit or caught outside the season And if don’t even bother setting for the things anymore they just show up in any water set and last year I got one in a bobcat set a mile or so from the nearest water

Geez. Nice catch but that sucks. It's nice of the state to introduce these fisher and give resident trappers an opportunity to catch one but they're areas that are thick with them, I don't use baited boxes/cubbies for coons because of the chances of incidentals with fisher. I've talked with 6 different bow hunters in this area who have seen them while in the bow stand including myself.

Dang. You were one week too early. Actually I caught him on the 5th. I've got active baits out with fishers on them for the 25th...

Yes Bernie..
My bad, I assumed they were introduced but looking into it it seems that that the population was started by fishers moving into ND and the Red river valley from Minnesota.
