My headlights on my snowmachine will work for a while, then won't. Seeing if y'all had any tips as to what to look for. It's really annoying this time of year to have your lights go out, seeing as how it's dark most of the time.

Not sure if you have the 550 or the 600 or if they are set up the same but on my 600 the relay was going bad and multiple times on starting they wouldn't work for 2-5 minutes. Then finally relay burned out and didn't work at all.

I recall an older Tundra that would do that too. Turns out the voltage regulator was bolted to a painted surface. Sanded the paint off and reattached regulator and cured the problem.Lousy ground

Poor ground is common for intermittent electrical problems. A relay could also be a problem. Skidoo relays might be made in Canada!!!

Sounds like an issue with reliability.

Is that like sustainability, traceable, certifiable ?

It's got the 600 ACE.

I would check fuse box for good connection and swap the relay with a good relay.
If both headlights quit at the same time it has to be further back in the harness.
