Thanks for answering. Wasn't sure if it would be due to the open boarders platform of the party, since it involved immigrants.

Just like a stray dog/cat , feed it , it hangs around.
Take away all the incentives for illegals to be here , free food , education , healthcare , access to jobs and drivers licenses , housing and money , they will leave on their own.

I thought the question is whether forum Libertarians support this decision, in light of their party's open-borders platform.
Isn't that what you were asking, J Saton?

Here's this libertarian's view on immigration:
If you want to work hard and otherwise contribute, come on in. We need hard working people of all types to keep this country moving. This applies to landscapers up to scientists--all levels of skill and income.
If you don't want to work, and even if you were born here, you need to leave. Some of the biggest deadbeats are US citizens.
Ending ALL forms of welfare would be a great start on my immigration plan. So then you agree with Trump's new immigration rules?
Eh...wot?

So you are for starvation? For me hobbie I believe it is the church's job to take care of the needy, and I know you know who the church is. .Gov ain't the church. I basically wanted to know where sovereignty falls on the libertarian scale in comparison to welfare cuts.

I basically wanted to know where sovereignty falls on the libertarian scale in comparison to welfare cuts. The definition of welfare is very broad for some. The church can’t give what even they don’t have.

Ending ALL forms of welfare would be a great start on my immigration plan. So then you agree with Trump's new immigration rules? If he wants to deport our homegrown U.S. citizen deadbeats, I will get behind almost any plan he proposes on immigration. I think I plainly presented my views above.

So you are for starvation? Of course not. I'm for personal responsibility. Too many people, including some on this site, could work and support themselves but choose to let me and others pay their way. I don't want or need those people here. If an immigrant wants to work, we need the help. I am in the process of working on my taxes. This is a hot button issue with me that gets hotter at tax time.

Are you for violating a citizens rights? My bad, no need to answer I read your post again. Your position is very clear. There is no right to welfare. "Deport" was admittedly a little strong but got the point across. I was thinking more about this. The packing houses of this country are full of illegals from Mexico and central America. Those workers immigrated, probably illegally, to take the jobs. Why aren't we incentivizing, by cutting off welfare, unemployed recipients of government aid in, for example Chicago, to move to Southwest Kansas to cut meat. This is one example.
