Picked up a skunk someone cut the tail off of last summer for the $10 bounty I got a ounce of essence out of it so they got $10 and I got $20.

I’ll stop and inspect just about anything. Picked up a real big male coyote last week. Now he’s tanned and hanging with the rest of them! Skinned, dressed and donated a spike buck in December. Made the best little rug and hopefully filled some bellies.

Skunks are starting to show themselves around here now. They are usually all mangled but I’m hoping to find a couple in good condition.

Last week I traded in my F-150 for an Escape. Had the rig less than 24 hours when SundanceMtnMan let me know of some wolf bait lying on the side of the road by my house. Even got the backstraps for myself out of the deal.

Right now I have been checking all the big boar coons that are out and about that have met their demise. But I have not found any worth pelting yet. All been chewed up pretty good.

It was in AZ back in the mid 1980's You could still use traps on state ad federal land there then. I would be down to a T-shirt by noon most days.

Yes, pick them up and go sell them to the fur buyer. And then make sure you complain about the prices you get later.
