I hope they keep the quality up. The Sleepy Creek #4 1/2 LS is about the most stout LS I've come across. Heckuva nice trap. And the #11 LS is very, very well made. Versatile trap for coon, skunk, mink, rat and I've heard will hold otter.

They need to go back to the old style #11 with the round pans though. Those 4 1/2's are stout traps!!!

The business has been bought by NEW OWNERS

They will bring back Sleepy Creek but in NEW headquarters (moving all equipment from West Virginia)

They are well established in the "trapping world" and great people

Same great traps with maybe a few improvement tweaks

I asked the question what will happen to all the equipment and maybe someone would buy it and restart. I've wondered what happened to a lot of the trap making equipment over the years. I'm sure some were just flat worn out but I wondered where what made traps like the Triple J, Woods n Water, Northwoods, Lambsaver, Bigelow are today. About all modern traps are sure better but it'd be neat to see some of them made and sold on a limited basis again.

Pan attachment, dog engagement and size. Not really about the shape.

I don't see who bought them. I love their traps. I hope they keep going with the double long 3 and 4, and 4.5. The TNT is a great trap too
