We get a crust on the snow here in march-good travelling in the am.sometimes get stuck on the way out if too late in pm.
If your in the bush 50 feet of rope should be plenty.

A tree strap with clevis ring, rope, and come-along will get you out of most jams. The tree strap and clevis ring give you a spot to tie the rope to with a looped knot for length adjustment, when you get caught in over flow or slush. Shovel is nice, but pretty cumbersome to carry on a snomo, so is usually at home when you get stuck. smirk

Our snow gets pretty deep,so always have snowshoes on the machine or in the sleigh.A snowshoe makes a passable shovel for moving snow when you bog the machine.

A 10 mm socket and ratchet as well as a wrench to change spark plugs is a good idea, the 10 mm stuff is so when the pull start rope breaks at the knot you can fix it right away, a disposable lighter is a good idea to as is " mule tape " the go along with the rope along .
