Just me and the wife now Id say a dozen to a dozen and half 2 dozen if she bakes.

2-3 dozen. The grocery store has a 2 dozen limit so we need to go in twice a week just for eggs.

With a lot of baking, egg, salad sandwiches, and monstrous Quarantine breakfasts my wife and I are going through about 4 dozen per week. We don't even have to go into the store to get them. We found a young lady that meets us at Kwik Trip and sets the free- range eggs in the back of our car, where the old cartons and the money are waiting for her. Works for me and they are great!

I have three every morning and my wife has one. I like them pickled too.

I give away most of my eggs to my landowners I will get a few shelves filled up then go for a drive delivering eggs along my line. One time I start at one end then other times the other end.

Fish Eggs or Duck Eggs?

Very few...I like my eggs but they just never were a habitual breakfast item for me. Usually if I have eggs its on the weekend.

Maybe a dozen if I pickle em, if not 3 or 4 a week.

No where near the hundred or so my hens leave laying around.

We raise layers with our son's family. The yokes are really turning brilliant yellow again as the hens graze in the grass. Not as many as many of you, the two of us eat about a dozen to 15 a week not counting baking, meatloaf etc.

Wife and I....average about 2 dozen a month.

Wife and I about 18 a week. We give my son a dozen every week and a lady I work with a dozen a week. More if we bake. I could use a few more hens, I could easily sell 10 dozen a week.

35 or more per week. That's just for breakfast. 3 for me 2 for the wife. Ad some cooking in could be close to 40 a week.

I eat one chicken egg, and 4 quail eggs every day from my hens. I make French Toast and smother it in butter and drown it in Wisconisin Maple syrup. And never get tired of eating eggs.

I enjoy eating quail eggs too when the poultry enthusiast down the hill has them for sale.

Only eat about 3 eggs a week, but I drink 3 gallons of skim milk a week... go figure.

i dont seem to tire of them she does.

I rarely eat any but do use them to dip my fish in before I bread them so a dozen will last me for a month or two even.

I can't vouch for the veracity of it, but I've read that eggs from free-range chickens have every nutrient in them to sustain human life, with the notable exception of Vitamin C and alcohol. Thus, I have 4 or 5 eggs every morning along with a large screwdriver. Covers all the bases.

After reading the answer on here, I no longer wonder why people need so much toilet paper!!!!!

I love eggs. Would love to eat them everyday . When I do eat them every day I find my cholesterol jumps about 20 points so I cut way back and eat egg whites pretty much every day with whole eggs once in awhile.

My 7 hens are putting out about 35-40 per week right now and me and the wife and 3 kids eat them all and usually buy a dozen or so a week. I've got 15 pullets so before long I'll have a surplus
