The boys will be making good OT money. You gotta be on the ball working train wrecks.Lots of bent steel under stress,got to be careful cutting it. Some de-railments are pretty routine,but wrecks are something else.Worked an acid trainwreck once in dead of winter.Sulfuric acid puddles under the snow all over the place. Google-Bleve.

I got a friend up east of Abilene I used to sell fur to his dad that does that work. They get paid well when they are gone. He is easy to remember because he can set 330s with his hand one right after another so we never arm wrestled him LOL

Ive seen 40 loaded coal cars piled up in a 100 yrd. stretch,always in the dead of winter.Fun times!
The moisture in rotten ties will freeze and they get brittle and break under load... That allows the rails to shift away from each other and then you've got a mess. That's how it was explained to me by a MOW worker. Mike
