Nice. Here the pickerel move into shallower water on cloudy days or when the water gets murky from a chop.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Nice walleye I'm glad to read that you released the larger walleye's keep the better one's around for a good gene pool !
Besides the better eaters are between 15" - 19/20" . I'm still learning how to jig fish for them that's a challenge I truly enjoy. Allan

I've never done that, always run crankbaits for them. Jigging is something I'd love to try though.
Eh...wot?

Crank baits work but lite jigs tipped with a minnow or a crawler on 4-6 lbs braided line on a 7' spinning rod casting toward the shore from 12-16' water is a blast or if the waters warmed up in 20'+ and vertical jigging can be extremely fun too .
But with that said I've been known to drag worm harnesses and bottom bouncers too it's all good !

Nice Walleyes! Love jigging for them better than any other method. Love the "bump" when it's dropping! We call it the "Tick" when they suck it in on the way down.LOL Good times.
