In that pic, even in human years, that horse was older than I was, she was 13 0r 14. lol

I haven't been to the Alamo--so I haven't seen anything. And that is the only thing on my bucket list.But then I would have to fly and that is one thing I have never done.And my son in law is an airplane mechanic and owns a plane.LOL--birds were meant to fly-not me. Tom

That is a lot of Hoss...most likely Percheron, maybe even a cross, given hoof size and amount of feathering. They ride like a lazy boy wide chair, hard to fall off . I know folks in their late seventies, even some early eighties who still ride. I will always ride , too. Fun picture

You are right Sharon, a Percheron,...If I remember correctly it weighted around 1500 pounds, (we never did use the hands measurement) just weight. We kept horses to work in the woods logging. I would ride them bare-back when they were old and quiet..lol
