My grandma said it was probably 1969 when she bought it and she said it couldn’t have been more than 50$. Ours is a 20 guage. That sounds about right. Mine is a 20 guage also. Killed my first coyote with it also. Im not a gun nut but I've got more of a intrest in the good old reliable working class of guns than fancy guns. You know the kind that were boight and used to put meat on the table kind. Yes sir! We are an Ithaca household my dad has a set of model 37s put back for all three of us boys. My year is 1952 and I believe my other brothers are ‘48 and ‘53

that is a hard one
maybe I have a favorite of each type or for each use.
the 44 super black hawk the wife gave me as a wedding present 20 years ago is definitely my favorite revolver.
my favorite pump shotgun is the Mossberg 500 Yes I am that guy who put a 70 dollar Morgan pad on a 250 dollar M500. because fit is king.

I love them all but have to admit a soft spot for gramps army and navy .577 H&H VERY, VERY NICE! Granddad was quite the connoisseur! Not really gramps was a farmer that bought what he thought was a cheap double barrel shotgun and the rest of his life complained about how he was took by the seller

My Remington 870 Wingmaster that I bought new when I got my first job after graduating high school in 1976. 3' Mag, vent rib, 30 in. full choke. $240.00. Soon after I bought a 28 in. mod. barrel and a smooth bore slug barrel. Still use it today. It survived a night at the bottom of the Kalamazoo River, many duck and deer hunts, and is one I will never get rid of. Way too many memories.

I don’t own any guns. They’re apparently dangerous. I don’t own any guns. They’re apparently dangerous. Lol! Good for you those things just randomly decide to kill people all the time. Especially those evil AR-14s. It’s a good thing Joe Biden is going to save us from them! Yup

That would be a favorite of mine too. Can’t find ammo though. I need to start reloading. I know! It’s a great dove gun I love it my grandpa gave it to me and I wouldn’t sell that thing for 2000$
