Ridgid 18v, been used couple years in rocky hard ground. Works good, great battery life, good price. I will not disagree with anyone using Milwaukee by any means I have both I just wanted something cheaper to beat around for trapping. Very satisfied with Ridgid though.

Milwaukee 18 volt 1/2 hammer drill has been working great for many years. 3 years ago when putting up wood duck nest boxes I dropped it in the water. I recovered it and rinsed out the muck, let it dry very well, installed a new battery, and it has worked great ever since. Of course the battery did not survive the swim.
What Milwaukee rotary hammer are you guys using?

What Milwaukee rotary hammer are you guys using? I bought a Milwaukee 2712-20 M18 1" SDS Plus. Can't imagine trapping in this country without one, having to deal with a bunch of frozen ground.

X2 on the Ridgid, except I'm just plain cheap! I just wanted a cordless drill for around the house and random projects. It has worked just fine on the trap line. But if I had splurged on the Milwaukee I'd be using it with an ice auger for sure!
Let's go Brandon!
