Anyone hunt pheasants??

Pheasant population in our area is almost non-existant.As a kid,50 to 100 pheasants would roost in the oak tree in our front yard,we hunted them a lot.
I haven't seen a pheasant around here for a few years,seems turkeys have taken their place.

So few pheasants in my area that I stopped buying a pheasant stamp.

Never seen one in real life. I’d love to go out west and hunt pheasant one cow twice

Yup. I actually help raise and stock them. Last night with the dog... they're all stocked birds around here though. To my surprise he put up four woodcock too.

Cool my dad put back a set for me. A 20, 12 & 16

I just was out yesterday morning and shot one, but I brought back 4! (one guy gave my one, and another gave me two)
