Looks like you need to upgrade some of your beaver bodygrips. Those old series 1 victors aint he best for the pelts. OK for nuisance if the springs are strong.

I'm ready to go too newfox. I'm in region 9. Only have two small spots to trap but hopefully get some phonecalls for more. Season here opens the 25th but DEC may move that up to the 10th guess we'll find out in a couple days if they are going to do that.

Beaver stopped at the trap and tried to move it,instead of moving thru. Could have resulted from setting in the transition area where beaver shifts from swimming to walking,trap not stabilized solid enough or some induced castor scent on/too near trap.
