Diamondback OP trapper D Joined: Oct 2020 UT	First time trapping. Been trying to scout and read as much as I can. Spent all day scouting and decided to set two snares at the end of the day as the sun was going down. Honestly not expecting to catch a thing. Got up early, drove to check my frozen over line and chipped the ice away. Thought my snare was stuck in the mud or something till i pulled out a webbed foot and couldn't believe it. Glory to God.

Bob trapper B Joined: Jan 2007 Northern Nevada	Nice job. Now the work begins lol. It wasn’t luck that you set on good sign, or that you studied how to set a snare. You did a good job, and it led to a catch. Keep it up! Don’t worry, if you keep trapping one of these critters will take you to school and frustrate the heck out of you. Those ones are gifts, nobody can teach you more about trapping than them if you pay attention and learn what they are showing you. Happens to me every so often, usually about the time I think I’m a good coyote trapper, one comes along that makes me look like an idiot lol. I learn something new every year, and I’ve been trapping for 17 years now. "I have two guns, one for each of ya."
