Just wondering how any of you store bait for longer than a season..
I got ambitious and made approx 95lbs of bait and I know that I will not use that much this season. To cut down on the power bill the freezer is not an option. I already mixed in SB to stop the taint so now it sits...

Ya can't miss fur if yur traps are out somewhere.
Or so I've been told.

I just keep mine out of the light. Try to get it in a cool dark area but warmth shouldn't matter so much if you've stopped the taint.

Just keep mine in the basement. Should be good for years if taint is stopped and preservatives and anti molding agents are added

I store all my lures & bait in ziplock bags inside ammo boxes until ready to use. This includes season to season. Ammo boxes help seal in odors big time

TILL THAT DAY.....

I'm keeping mine in an old cooler, so far so good.

I kept mine in the garage, not heated or cooled in there, till this spring when I moved, then it sat in the horse trailer all summer. I just store it wherever it’s convenient and keep the jars sealed.
