I Believe I'll have some Beaver in the AM: This is one of the Slickest mudded Lodges I've ever trapped. I'd say its going to be a cold winter....but so far its been extremely warm. ............. It could be that we usually have All Ice and Snow by now. Anyway lots of feed.

that feed pile looks huge. maybe 3 generations living there? how many did you set there? 6 sets. I was on the way to a private landowner property to set so I only set 6. I'll be out there in the AM:

We cannon check until 1/2 hour before sunrise.
May I ask what the reasoning is behind that rule? Ya, that sounds like a well thought out law... I can see no firearms, but can you set in the dark? If I couldnt trap in the dark I couldnt trap.
