I hear a lot about using mini marshmallows for cage bait I see people use them and they catch skunks yes they do so I thought let’s give them a go. The little ones were on sale for a dollar a bag so I bought 6 bags about a week ago to try.
After a week or 10 days I believe we now have the fattest mice and rats in all SD. I bait then I check and rebait every other day the same cages are empty of bait the next trap still has bait. LOL

I couldn't tell you. Every time I get a bag I eat them.

I know they work well on coon in DP's, dipped in grape jelly with a golf ball on top

Suspend an old clean tuna can tin from wire from top of cage and down low enough to be accessible to skunks but high enough mice can't reach the marshmallows in the tin. I use a nail punch to center a hole in the bottom of the can for wire to go into. Then fill er up.
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I roll marshmallows in jello powder to give them a scent. Yes, they attract everything you aren't trying to catch. Woods here are filled with feral cats so I switched my DPs to canned corn. Cats seem to like marshmallows too - who knew?

Yep been getting cats but I have fresh rat carcasses in the cages also in many so it’s hard to tell, coon and skunk numbers are hit and miss this year so again it’s tough to gauge what works or doesn’t.

I seem to have major avoidance with cups. I like the idea, I need to tweak my sets some, I guess.
